The Federal Government has approved a major overhaul of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), introducing a new adire-inspired uniform and discipline-based postings as part of broader reforms aimed at modernising the scheme. The reforms, approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC), are designed to make the NYSC more relevant to national development by aligning corps members’ skills and academic backgrounds with their places of primary assignment.
