Babatunde Omojuwa popularly known as Mr. 'T' as the family announced his death on 9th of December 2025.According to reliable family sources, the death of Hon. Babatunde Omojuwa occured on 8th of December 2025 in a hospital in Okitipupa, Ondo state around 12 noon and his body has been deposited in a mortuary in Okitipupa, Ondo state pending the proper arrangements for his burial by the family.The sources further revealed to Ayemafuge media outfit that Hon. Babatunde Omojuwa passed away after a protracted illness on 8th of December 2025. Since the announcement of his demise, a lot of tributes have been pouring in from his friends and his followers. Russia massing nuclear fleet in Arctic circle ‘for war with Nato’
Russia is amassing nuclear weapons and attack submarines in the Arctic Circle as it prepares for war with Nato, Norway’s defence minister has warned. In an interview with The Telegraph, Tore Sandvik said Oslo had detected increased weapons development on Russia’s Kola peninsula, where its prized Northern Fleet and parts of its nuclear stockpile are based. He also said that Vladimir Putin was trying to gain full naval control over the Arctic region so that he could block Nato allies’ access to two key shipping routes that would help resupply Western forces in wartime. “Russia is building up on the Kola peninsula ... where one of the largest arsenals of nuclear warheads in the world is located. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has appointed new service chiefs in a sweeping overhaul of the country's military leadership, the presidency said on Friday, as part of efforts to strengthen national security.The reshuffle comes amid persistent security challenges across Nigeria, including Islamist insurgencies in the northeast, armed banditry in the northwest, and separatist unrest in the southeast.General Olufemi Oluyede was named Chief of Defence Staff, replacing General Christopher Musa, who was appointed just over two years ago after Tinubu came into office.Major-General W. Shaibu was appointed Chief of Army Staff, while Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke and Rear Admiral I. Abbas were named Chiefs of Air and Naval Staff, respectively.Major-General E.A.P. Undiendeye retained his position as Chief of Defence Intelligence."All appointments take immediate effect," the presidency said in a statement.
Gov Aiyedatiwa to pay more attention on tourism in Ondo
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state has restated his administration’s determination to promote tourism as a socio-economic development lever. The governor made the statement on Thursday at the 9th annual general meeting and conference of the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), held at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome) in Akure, the Ondo state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, the governor acknowledged the immense contribution of tourism to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of any nation.
