The Federal Ministry of Works has commenced immediate remedial works to address the erosion challenge around the interchange close to the Second Niger Bridge, Oba, Anambra State, following a public alert about the condition of the site on social media. Upon being informed of the situation, the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi, CON, immediately directed that the matter be attended to without delay. True to that directive, men and equipment have been mobilised to the site, with remedial works already ongoing to address the washout, restore the affected area and protect the road infrastructure from further deterioration.
