ACF Condemns Alleged Profiling and Deportation Threats Against Northern Women in Ondo
The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has criticized the alleged profiling and intimidation of Northern women by operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, popularly known as Amotekun, describing the development as unconstitutional and discriminatory. In a statement issued by the Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Bashir Dalhatu, the forum expressed concern over a viral video showing a group of Northern women being questioned and allegedly threatened with deportation from Ondo State. The ACF argued that every Nigerian citizen has the constitutional right to live, work, and move freely in any part of the country without discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, or place of origin.
