The Ondo State Government has reassured the family of a traditional community leader who was abducted by suspected gunmen in Owo Local Government Area, promising that security agencies are working tirelessly to secure his safe release. The victim, identified as Adeniyi Adelana, the Baale of Ode Oriya Village, was reportedly kidnapped when armed assailants invaded the community over the weekend. During the attack, his wife sustained a gunshot injury and was immediately taken to a medical facility, where she is receiving treatment and responding positively.
