President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent barbaric and cowardly attack on innocent citizens in Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack on innocent citizens in the early hours of Monday led to the killings of about 30 residents, including women and children and the burning down of their houses. Gunmen abduct Kebbi high court Judge

A Kebbi State High Court Judge, Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be bandits. The high court judge, it was gathered was abducted in the early hours of Sunday at his home along Zogirma Road in Bunza Local Government Area of Kebbi. Sources said the attack occurred at about 12:00am on Saturday night shortly after the judge returned from a trip to Sokoto. “He had just returned from Sokoto when the gunmen stormed his residence and took him away,” a source said. He added that, though nobody in the house was hurt while the attackers were shooting sporadically before moving him away. “Immediately the incident occurred, we reported to the appropriate authorities, including the leadership of the High Court,” he said. Gunmen kidnap LG chairman – Kill four security operatives

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted the Chairman of Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Nura Umar Abdullahi. The armed men also killed two policemen and two local vigilantes who attempted to foil the attack. The gunmen invaded the chairman’s residence in the early hours of Saturday and took him, his mother, wife and two children away after overpowering his security personnel.
