The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of former OGTV staff member, Olakitan Oyesiku, and her security guard, Pelumi Adetayo. The police have confirmed the death of four serving members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in a road accident involving a military gun truck and a commercial Hummer bus on the Narehi axis of the Girei–Song road in Adamawa State.According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, the crash occurred at about 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday. He explained that the accident happened when the military vehicle, travelling from Gombi to Yola, collided head-on with the commercial bus conveying five passengers from Yola to Mubi. Nguroje said six people died in the accident.According to him, police preliminary findings indicate that the impact of the collision caused the commercial bus to overturn and burst into flames. All five passengers aboard the bus were reportedly trapped and burnt to death. He stated that preliminary identification showed that four of the […]
