In less than 2yrs Gov. Aiyedatiwa records highest domestic debt reduction in Nigeria

Ondo State has emerged as Nigeria’s most fiscally disciplined sub-national government, having reduced its domestic debt by an unprecedented 82.6 percent within a year, the highest and most significant debt reduction recorded among all 36 states. This outstanding achievement is attributed to the strategic economic reforms and financial prudence of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s administration since its inception. Data from the Debt Management Office (DMO) on states’ debt comparison between 2023 and 2024 showed Ondo State at the top in reducing domestic debt in one year. The record shows that Ondo State, under Governor Aiyedatiwa, reduced its domestic debt from N74billion in 2023 to N12billion in 2024, a difference of N61billion and a percentage of 82.6. Ondo govt. issues public warnings against imposters

The Ondo State Government has issued a public disclaimer disowning a Facebook page falsely operating under the name “Gov Orimisan L Aiyedatiwa,” warning citizens against engaging with the unauthorized platform. In an official statement released by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media, Mr. Yòmí Oyékàn, the government clarified that the only legitimate and verified Facebook page of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is “Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,” which bears the official blue verification badge. The public is urged to disregard the activities of the fake page and report any social media account impersonating the Governor. “Members of the public are advised to beware of scams or misleading information originating from such unauthorized pages,” the statement read. Gov. Aiyedatiwa Set To Commence Dualization of Akure-Idanre Road Wednesday

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in fulfilment of his electionering campaign promise will flag off the dualisation of Akure Idanre road on Wednesday the 30th of April 2025. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engineer Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye (FNSE, FNICE) made this known in Akure during a chat with journalists.
