Ondo govt appoints warrant chiefs, commences selection of new monarch, Olu-Oke
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties, Comrade Bola Taiwo, gave the hint during a press conference after the State Executive Council meeting in Akure that A new Olu-Oke of Okeigbo in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo local government area of Ondo state may emerge soon as the state government has appointed warrant chiefs to begin the process of selection. He said the development became necessary following a court judgment which nullified the appointment of the late Babajide Lawrence Oluwole before his demise. Late Oba Babajide was the 17th ruler and the 6th Oluoke of Okeigbo Kingdom.
