All roads led to Shilloh Ground on the 12th January, 2025 as Oba Micah Olaseni Ajijo, the Spiritual Majesty of Holy Apostles’ Church and Ogeloyinbo of Ayetoro Community in Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State, Nigeria hosted multitudes of members of the church, Christians from different denominations across Nigeria and beyond, Zion artistes, religious, traditional and political leaders and well-wishers from all walks of life at the 2025 foundation day/Shilloh anniversary at Shilloh Ground, up Omonira Street, Igbokoda, on the 12th January, 2025.

n his welcome address, the Chief Host, Oba Micah Olaseni Ajijo appreciated the massive turnout of guests and congregants at this year’s anniversary. He enjoined everyone to remain steadfast in the service of God for which they were called while reiterating the benefits of evangelism and service to humanity exemplified by the Holy Apostles’ Church, Ayetoro not only through church service but also through her pathfinding and pioneering communal living and the stopping of the killing of twins in Ilajeland and it’s environs.
The Spiritual Majesty also used the occasion to announce the establishment of Oba Micah Ajijo Foundation for evangelism and Construction of the #100,000,000 Peter Ojagbohunmi Chaple for the advancement of the work of God, among other laudable projects.
The Special Guest of Honour at the anniversary, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, represented by Honourable Maurice Oripenaiye (Arah), APC candidate for Ilaje Local Government in the forthcoming Ondo State local government election felicitated the Spiritual King and members of the church on the successful anniversary which coincided with his (the Governor’s) 60th birthday.
He also acknowledged the relevance of the Holy Apostles’ Community, Ayetoro not only to Ilajeland, Ondo State and Nigeria but also to the entire world. He further promised that government would do everything in its power to address the challenges being faced by the community, especially Sea incursion which has rendered over eighty percent of the residents homeless and submerged more than two third of the shoreline which has been their ancestral home from prehistoric time.
Other guests including the Secretary of Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Honourable Mrs Abike Ilawole, represented by Honourable Mafolabomi Wale attested to the impact of Ayetoro Community and the necessity of government intervention in halting the menace of sea incursion on the community.
Captain Folajimi Iretolu, Chairman of the Board of Registered Trustees of the church and Asiwaju Gani Adetoro Ojagbohunmi, Former Clerk of the Federal House of Representatives and member Board of Trustees used the occasion to admonish members of the church to remain steadfast in service as they are hopeful that God of the Apostles would soon intervene in the challenges being faced by the community in recent times.
