Ilaje Nation Mourns As Hon. Babatunde Omojuwa passed away
The entire Ilaje Nation, a socio-cultural group of the Ilajes all over the world mourns the death of Hon. Engr. Babatunde Omojuwa popularly known as Mr. ‘T’ as the family announced his death on 9th of December 2025.
According to reliable family sources, the death of Hon. Babatunde Omojuwa occured on 8th of December 2025 in a hospital in Okitipupa, Ondo state around 12 noon and his body has been deposited in a mortuary in Okitipupa, Ondo state pending the proper arrangements for his burial by the family.
The sources further revealed to Ayemafuge media outfit that Hon. Babatunde Omojuwa passed away after a protracted illness on 8th of December 2025.
Since the announcement of his demise, a lot of tributes have been pouring in from his friends and his followers. He has been described as a pillar of the Ilaje Nation world wide.
Some described the honourable as a mobiliser, referring to when he lead the campaign train for His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa in the last elections that brought Governor Ayedatiwa on board as the incumbent governor of Ondo state while some tagged him to be a man of integrity, policy and a man of his words. He was also a prominent member of popular APC! ILAJE SUPPORT GROUP.
An undisputable source from the family told Ayemafuge media outfit that the Christian wake keep service for him has been scheduled to come up on 16th of December 2025 while the church service/lying in state takes place on 17th of December 2025 (Tuesday and Wednesday next week) and interment follows immediately. All in his home town, Igboegunrin, Ilaje local government council area of Ondo state.
