The Malokun of Atijere in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Adeoye Edema, has called on youths and students, particularly those at the Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa, to maintain good behavior and steer clear of social vices.

Oba Adeoye delivered this counsel at the annual Atijere youth carnival and beauty pageant, organized by the Atijere Youth Executive Council. This vibrant event attracted friends, students, well-wishers, and members of the Atijere Kingdom from both near and far, offering a variety of entertainment, awards, and motivational speeches. In his address, the Malokun of Atijere praised the youth leaders for their ongoing efforts to uphold the community’s culture and traditions. He urged them to continue being exemplary ambassadors of the town and to serve as role models for the younger generations.

In her speech of acceptance, Miss Orofin Josephine Motunrayo expressed her heartfelt thanks to the Atijere Youth Executive Council for their efforts in organizing the event and acknowledged the hard work of the other five contestants. She vowed to champion good morals and leverage her position to inspire the younger generation, particularly young girls, to pursue their aspirations.
