Born to family of Pa Odola of Ojadele Royal House of Ilaje-Ugbo around 1876 at Erunna. He was a fisherman and “Fisher of men” for God. The Oracle foretold his birth as a “holy rebel to the forces of darkness,

Tradition and a God-consecrated instrument of depopulating the kingdom of hell”. He was at different times under the spiritual tutelages of St Moses Orimolade, the founder of C&S Church worldwide and Mama Captain Abiodun in Lagos in the 1920s.
He led a courageous band of spirited Ilaje men to establish the holy Seat of Zion in Africa hitherto burgeoning and known as Ugbonla Zion on February 16, 1948. He was the leader of the community founded by him on Christian creed till March 28, 1996 when he died in Ibadan. Despite being limited by under-hyping, the terrain of his abode, he was popular and had branches beyond the shores of Africa.
During one of his missionary visits to Garbon, he blessed a barren coconut tree to bring fruit during his next visit and it came to pass. If all the miracles that God did through him had been totally recorded and given strident Publicity, he surpasses even T.B. Joshua, Adeboye and contemporary church leaders in the world.
When he died, Ilaje lost an illustrious son and luminous sun with universal splendour. He began the hitherto burgeoning Zion C&S Primary School and Cherubim and Seraphim Academy Ugbonla on communal efforts and run them for many years before government take over.
