A teenage girl has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command following an incident in which she allegedly injured her boyfriend with a broken bottle during a dispute.
According to reports, the incident occurred after an argument between the pair escalated, resulting in the teenager allegedly attacking the young man with a broken bottle. The victim sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Police authorities confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue. Officials said the case would be handled in accordance with the law once preliminary findings are concluded.
Residents of the area expressed concern over the growing number of violent disputes involving young people, calling for increased awareness on conflict resolution and emotional management.
