Government releases activities for Governor Lucky, Deputy’s inauguration
The inauguration ceremony for the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, along with his deputy, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami, is scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025.
In preparation for this event, the Inauguration Steering Committee has announced a series of activities commencing on Friday, February 21, 2025, with a Jumat Service at the Akure Central Mosque at 1 PM.
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, a Beach Sunsplash event will take place at Araromi Seaside in the Ilaje Local Government Area at 11 AM, featuring a World Press Conference led by the Governor to highlight the tourism potential of the location.
The following day, a Church Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, starting at 10 AM. The official swearing-in ceremony for the Governor and Deputy Governor will occur on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, beginning at 10 AM. Later that evening, at 6 PM, the Inauguration Gala Night and Book Presentation will be hosted at the International Centre for Culture & Events (The Dome) in Akure.
