Ilaje to the World
Comrade Taiwo Ogunyemi headed a group of Ilaje youths to officially introduce two Ilaje graduates, who recently achieved first-class honours from the esteemed Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology in Okitipupa, Nigeria, to the chairman of the Ilaje Local Government Council, Hon. Maurice Amona Oripanye.
The lady wearing the black dress was Miss Omopariola Omotola, who completed her studies in the Department of Fishery and Aquaculture, achieving an impressive CGPA of 4.71 out of 5.00. In contrast, the individual in the light-blue dress, Miss Olorundare Justinah, the daughter of the esteemed and legendary Prophet Arogundade of C&S Zion, Harama Headquarters, graduated from the Department of Food Science and Technology with a CGPA of 4.63 out of 5.00.
In his address, the executive chairman expressed his admiration for the two exceptional daughters of Ilaje, commending their remarkable academic achievements, which he deemed a source of pride for the entire Ilaje community. He announced his intention to reward them with a monthly stipend of #50,000 for the next six months as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for their outstanding efforts.
Additionally, he extended his gratitude to Comrade Taiwo Ogunyemi, the president of the National Union of Ilaje Youths (NAUIYO), for accompanying the accomplished Ilaje daughters to his office. Hon. Oripanye pledged to take the two talented Ilaje women to meet the governor of the state to further inspire and motivate them.
