Everyday, my heart yearns for the development of ILAJE as I visualise its massive TOURISM potentials. I see a new Maldive, Zanzibar, Seychelles and more. A land with huge industries built on the back of COCONUT, our COASTLINE and maybe our SAND once again.
A land that will lead the ENTERTAINMENT revolution in Ondo State. Many entertainers are of Ondo State origin and yet, the entertainment industry suffers despite having 9 universities in their pool and surrounded by more from Ekiti State.
How come Lagos is reclaiming land and Ondo is losing theirs to SEA INCURSION? What happened to the carnivals that use to unite us in Igbokoda where the BOAT REGATTA was a beauty to behold? The MARE FESTIVAL that took us to the Idanre Hills is gone.
Everyday, my heart yearns for the development of ILAJE as I visualise its massive TOURISM potentials. I see a new Maldive, Zanzibar, Seychelles and more.
Why are the thriving clubs not enjoying BRANDING from top drinks’ companies despite the heavy patronage? Why is the nightlife of the state so quiet despite the youthful demography. Why is the youth harassment so permitted that they run into their shells?
Why are the beautiful brains from FUTA easily drained to Lagos without a compensating TECH company in the state? I have met a lot of FUTARIANS in companies in Lagos and I ask myself, why is Ondo State not retaining these brains?
In these age and time, despite the close proximity of ILAJE to Lagos which is about 38km, we still have to drive all the way through Ore to get there and then, broadband is still a mystery. As soon as you approach the LGA, it is a struggle to be connected to the internet till you leave.
